SHOPPING INFORMATION
It’s so easy, we like to make things simple! Enter your pickup date, the Thursday before your event, and then the drop-off date the Monday after your event. Select your fabulous items and we will confirm availability and get you a proposed contract! Then sign the contract and pay the 50% non-refundable deposit and your items will be reserved for your fabulous event (one less thing to check off your list, good job!).
A month prior to your event, Beautifully Borrowed will contact you to schedule a pickup/drop-off time. Remember to have people lined up to help load items into a clean enclosed vehicle or trailer. We want to make this process as easy as possible for you, you have enough to plan!
Our minimum order is $75 before sales tax.
We would absolutely love for you to view our beautiful items. Open houses are offered in late fall through the spring. Our inventory is always viewable on our website. We will update our social media/website with new items and open house dates!
Absolutely NOT! We would love to help you find the perfect decor for Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Retirement, and Birthday Parties. We also have great items for Graduation Parties and coming soon we will have sleepover kits for the kiddos, including tents and kid-themed decorations.
To keep costs down for our dear customers, our pretties are offered for pickup/drop-off at scheduled times. We know it’s just one more thing to add to your “to-do” list, but it also helps keep rental prices down, which is a win in our book.
A responsible party (you or another designated adult, 18 years of age or older) must be present upon pick up to sign for the items. Signing acknowledges that all the correct items were received and in good condition.
Beautifully Borrowed will do our best to accommodate any substitutions or additions, but changes must be approved by completing an addendum to the Rental Agreement. An addendum will be provided, outlining the new items, modified totals and calculating the new final payment required.
Sign the Rental Agreement with the 50% deposit (due upon signing), and then your items are reserved for your special event! The final payment will be due 14 days prior to your event. This final payment will include the remaining balance for rented items, a refundable security deposit, and sales tax. In keeping with the State guidelines, Beautifully Borrowed charges 6% use tax on the final rental costs of all items. We make it easy for you to pay. We accept Mastercard and Visa. Please note, your credit card information will be kept on file to cover any unforeseen issues.
The following circumstances are considered a breach of contract:
- Payments are not received by the due date, or the credit card on file becomes invalid, expires or we are unable to authorize payment. Your non-payment will be considered a breach of contract and all previous payments are forfeited.
- If payment is not received by the due date, Beautifully Borrowed will consider your rental items available for another client’s use. Beautifully Borrowed is not contractually obligated to accept payments beyond the due date, nor refund previous payments.
- In the event this contract is breached by the client, the client agrees that in addition to any actual damages resulting from the breach the client shall be liable for any attorney’s fees and costs associated with the terms of this contract.
All rentals require a 50% security deposit. As stated above, this deposit is due with your final payment 14 days before your event. Upon return of all rented items, each item will be examined for damage (fading, stains, tears, cracks, corrosion, chips, etc.) and the client will be notified by phone or email of any missing or damaged items within seven (7) days. If you are aware of missing or damaged items, please notify us upon their return. Photos of damages will be submitted as proof upon request. The security deposit will be used toward any damage, loss, or cleaning fees. If damage, loss, or cleaning fees exceed the security deposit, the client will have 7 days to pay the additional amount due. The credit card on file will be charged if the damage, loss, or cleaning fees are not paid within 7 days. If all items are returned as they were received, the full security deposit will be refunded. Any full or partial refunds will be refunded to the credit card within 10 days of the return of the items.
Replacement costs are equal to four (4) times the rental rate for rented items. Current market replacement costs will be charged for lost or damaged equipment included with your order.
Items must be returned on your due date to avoid additional charges.
We want all our clients to have access to the items they have rented. If items are returned late to Beautifully Borrowed, without prior arrangements, the client cancan be charged an additional full rental rate. If items are not returned within 2 days of the scheduled return date and the client cannot be reached, the client acknowledges that Beautifully Borrowed will regard the unreturned and unpaid items as stolen and the theft will be reported.
Due to the unique nature of our inventory items, substitutions may be required if a rental item(s) is lost or damaged at an event that precedes yours. If this occurs, you will be contacted as soon as we become aware to notify you that the item(s) you rented were not returned or have been damaged to the extent that a substitution is necessary. We will do our best to offer an item that is a reasonable substitution. You will be offered the opportunity to accept the suggested substitution or to cancel that item(s) from your order. If you choose to cancel that item(s), you will be refunded any paid cost associated with that item/items.
Because other prospective clients will be turned away for your specific rentals once you have booked, all scheduling deposit payments made are non-refundable. All rentals may be canceled if received in writing no later than 30 days prior to the event. In this case, you will not be obligated to pay the remaining balance of your contract. If you cancel 30 days or more before your event, your scheduling deposit will remain on file and can be applied to your rescheduled event as long as it takes place within the next 6 months. In this circumstance only, the deposit will be applied to the new date. Beautifully Borrowed cannot guarantee all the same items and services will be available for your new date. Rental items and services for the new event date are subject to availability.
